Will anyone take a plane in the US be subjected to facial recognition?

Facial recognition in airports was first tested in the country in 2017 and is currently used in 15 US airports.

Facial recognition systems are already used in other countries of the world such as Australia, Qatar, Canada, the United Kingdom and Greece. In Athens, facial recognition arrived on an experimental basis earlier this month and replaced passports and documents, streamlining the boarding procedures.
