A photo stolen from the Gamescom 2019 event allows us to take a first look at the elements of the interface of the Google Stadia platform.

With a few months ahead of the debut scheduled for November, Google has brought Stadia among the Gamescom 2019 pavilions to showcase its cloud gaming platform. Someone from the Cologne event shared an image that allows you to see how the service interface will be organized.

The image below has been published by a Reddit user and then torn to pieces by the editorial staff of the 9to5Google site so as to highlight some details that we also take up in this article. The title in execution is Mortal Kombat 11 (the fighter selection screen), present in the launch line-up along with other  top-level games like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Baldur’s Gate 3, Borderlands 3, Eternal DOOM, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 and Watch Dogs Legion to name a few. Next year, the expected Cyberpunk 2077 will be confirmed early this week.

On the right side of the UI there is a sort of sidebar that at the top shows the structure of the names associated with the players’ accounts: TwentyThree # 5821, therefore “nick + # + ID”, a choice in line with what Blizzard does on Battle.net.

Then there is the section dedicated to the settings where to configure the parameters related to connection, controller and audio compartment.

In the upper left corner, instead, the network status: “Great” in this case, to emphasize that the speed of the line is optimal for the game in streaming. Considering that the photo was taken at a videogame fair, we would be surprised to see a different result.

We remind you that in order to play with Stadia you will need at least 10 Mbps agreeing to limit the quality of the video signal to the 720p format, while those who want to go as far as 4K will necessarily need a connection of 35 Mbps or more.
