Omarosa Manigault Newman, a former Donald Trump adviser, has been paid $450,000 to appear on Australia’s Big Brother VIP, according to reports.

Omarosa will supposedly face Caitlyn Jenner, who received $500,000 to participate in the show.

She, 47, is a former White House insider and an outspoken TV personality in the United States.

A source told People:

Omarosa and Caitlyn are expected to go head-to-head, especially about LGBTQ+ issues.

They’re the two highest paid on the upcoming season.

Omarosa previously competed in the 2019 season of Big Brother in the United States, where she came fifth.

She rose to prominence in 2004 as a contestant on Donald Trump’s inaugural season of The Apprentice USA.

administration’s Office of Public Liaison from January 2017 until her firing in December of that year.

On Celebrity Big Brother USA, Omarosa lambasted Trump, 75, and said she would never vote for him again.

In her 2018 book Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House, she also called Trump a racist.

Melania Trump, the wife of the former US president, accused Omarosa of ‘lashing out’ after she claimed in her book that the First Lady was ‘counting the minutes’ to divorce her husband.

Omarosa stated that the couple’s romance was finished and that Melania was only waiting for the President to lose power before departing.

The former Apprentice contestant also told Lorraine Kelly, host of the TV show, that Melania was ‘repulsed’ by her husband.

In her 2018 book, Newman wrote:

In my opinion, Melania is counting every minute until he is out of office and she can divorce him.

If Melania were to try to pull the ultimate humiliation and leave him while he’s in office, he would find a way to punish her.

She went on to say that Trump might try to cancel his wife’s citizenship.

Sarah Sanders, Trump’s former press secretary, had stated that Newman’s book was “riddled with lies and false accusations.”

Newman also told Lorraine Kelly that Trumps’ marriage was a “very strange marriage.”

Caitlyn Jenner is running for Governor of California from a hotel quarantine in Australia, and the recall election is less than two months away.

The Olympic gold medalist has been chastised for flying from California to Australia for the reality show.

She has, however, defended her decision to participate.

On Sunday, she told Fox News that “[un]like most politicians, I actually honour my contract”.

Caitlyn refused to confirm her participation in Big Brother VIP, but she did say that her trip to Australia had been planned for “months.”
