Kelly Clarkson has won a significant victory in her divorce battle with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.

Clarkson has been awarded her Montana ranch, where Brandon is currently residing, as well as significant assets that the pair previously shared.

The country singer stated in court documents filed on August 9 that she wishes to sell her property because it is a ‘financial burden’ on her.

Meanwhile, Blackstock stated that he intends to use the property to devote himself entirely to ranching, abandoning his career as a music manager in the entertainment industry.

Additionally, he was contesting the duo’s prenuptial agreement, requesting that all their assets be divided, as well as the singer’s income earned during their marriage.

According to TMZ, the judge dismissed the claims, effectively ending the case.

While Clarkson has encountered financial difficulties during her divorce, she has found something to celebrate. Wednesday evening, while on set of The Voice, the coach discovered that the judge in her case had validated her prenup. According to sources contacted by TMZ, the prenup separates all of her assets and income earned during her marriage to Blackstock.

Clarkson’s celebrations during filming reportedly became personal. Ariana Grande, the team’s newest member, was spotted taking part in the celebration. Additionally, it was revealed that Blake Shelton, who was previously managed by Blackstock, had terminated their business relationship.

Clarkson has much to look forward to despite her divorce’s ups and downs. NBC confirmed that the host’s talk show will take over Ellen’s time slot. The long-running series is scheduled to conclude after season 19, leaving Clarkson in charge.

Clarkson and Blackstock married in 2013 and have two children together: 7-year-old River and 5-year-old Remington.
