Matt Damon may be one of the world’s most prominent Oscar winner actors, but at home, his four daughters seem to be in control.
Damon, 50, revealed in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning where he joined to promote his new film Stillwater that his children show no mercy when it comes to rating on dear old dad. Indeed, his 15-year-old daughter, Isabella, has refused to watch Good Will Hunting, her father’s favourite film.

After a “family meeting” with his wife Luciana and four children, Damon decided to play an oil rig worker who travels to France to save his daughter from jail in Stillwater.
Matt Damon follows a family rule that they can’t be separated for more than two weeks at a time. “That was really tough,” Damon recalled of their first “violation” of the rule, due to Stillwater. Still, he enjoys seeing his children’s enthusiasm for his job.
To prepare his children for new schools, Damon plans to take the summer off from work so that he and his family can settle in New York City and accommodate his children’s school schedules. For him, having a strong presence is critical.
Damon said he tries to be attentive, but he admits he is concerned about his children’s luxury.
Damon stated that having a family impacts his emotions as well. Damon was moved to tears by the five-minute round of ovation he got from the audience at the recent Cannes Film Festival screening of Stillwater. He claims it’s not uncommon for him to cry these days.
