New ‘Fast & Furious 9’ trailer promises more real destruction and most spectacular scenes ever made

New 'Fast & Furious 9' trailer promises more real destruction and fewer digital images

If you like the world of motorsport and popcorn action movies then it’s hard not to like the ‘Fast & Furious’ saga. For this 2021 comes the ninth chapter of a saga that seems to have no end neither in a number of deliveries nor in limits to destruction.

The franchise has been surpassing itself in spectacularity, and after the first trailer, we now have a second video in which the leitmotiv is perfectly summarized: scrapping in the most dramatic way possible any vehicle that appears on the screen, but also with images from the shoot itself in which we can see how some of the most spectacular scenes were made.

‘Fast & Furious 9’: the art of car demolition

The escalation of figures in terms of destroyed vehicles reached a maximum figure of 320 cars in ‘Fast & Furious 6’, falling slightly in the seventh installment to place a cumulative record number of 1,487 cars.

In the eighth title of the franchise we could see a heavy rain of cars, but this time the number is imprecise since the most insane scenes were created by computer. And it is that post-production has a high weight in the final result, but there is nothing like a good dose of real scrap.

In ‘Fast & Furious 9’ the desire for destruction goes a step further and apart from being able to see flying cars also created digitally, the saga will resort to a mechanical carnage that includes some very powerful magnets capable of ridiculously moving cars and, of course, scrap them.

The new installment could not be less and adds to the climb of colossi destroys cars with an articulated and armored truck running over cars as if they were cones and that is added to the list of annihilated vehicles after planes, tanks, helicopters, trucks or submarines that we have already seen previously.

Aside from Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his troop, the guest cast for this occasion will include star guests such as Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R, Dodge Charger Widebody, Toyota GR Supra, Nascar cars, Jeep Gladiator, Toyota GT86 thrown against a delivery truck at through a building … all with a budget that should be around (again) $ 200 million.

The ninth installment of ‘Fast & Furious’ (not counting the parallel stories) will hit the big screen on June 25.

We are already preparing the popcorn.
