Reportedly, the 75-year-old singer Dolly Parton has chosen to wait for the vaccine and does not want to jump the line.

A veteran American singer Dolly Parton who is also a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actress, author, businesswoman, and humanitarian said that she will wait for the COVID-19 vaccine and not jump the line.

The singer, who has donated $1 million for the development of Moderna Vaccine has decided to wait for the vaccine. 

As the COVID-19 vaccine has begun to roll out across the nation, she has also signed in the process of vaccination, with millions of Americans to have received the vaccine.

The country has given the first preference to the front-line workers, following whom, people above 60 years of age will be vaccinated. Although several celebrities, politicians, and public figures have received the vaccination, Dolly Parton has come up with a different viewpoint. 

According to the sources, Dolly Parton has decided to wait before receiving the coronavirus vaccination because she doesn’t want people to perceive it as a show. She also added saying that she chooses to wait since she has donated money to those working on the vaccine.

The 75 years old singer also stated that she should have received the vaccine last week itself since she turned 75, but is willing to wait for a few more days.

Parton also hopes that her decision to wait will encourage people to refrain from ‘jumping the line’ as well. 

Dolly Parton has redone her most loved ‘9 to 5`track that celebrates the side hustle lifestyle, for Super Bowl advertisement. The title of the song has been changed to ‘5 to 9’ and will be aired at the Super Bowl event on February 7, 2021. The official audio of ‘5 to 9’ is already out on YouTube since February 2.

The Singer has a total of 528k Subscribers on her YouTube channel. Jolene, one of her most popular songs has banged 55 million views on YouTube!
