Most of us shed hair a little at a time — pretty much all the time. But sometimes we lose between 50 and 100 hairs a day, usually without noticing. Then you wonder, “Am I losing hair permanently?”

For people who worried about losing their hair, this natural remedy may hold some potential hair benefits.

Hair loss and hair thinning are considered normal, often occurring with ageing. While no treatment is 100 percent effective, green tea has shown some promise.

As studies have shown that the catechin in tea blocks the negative effects of testosterone and DHT. It is these two hormones that stop hair growth and speed up the hair loss process.

According to a study conducted on a small group of people suffering from hair loss. They applied green tea extract to the scalp and subsequently noticed a significant increase in hair growth activity.

In another study on mice, experts found that a third of the rodents who were given green tea extract for food, after six months, increased hair growth.

It is noted that the hair has its own cycle, which includes three phases: growth, transition phase, and shedding.

Typically, a person sheds from 50 to 100 hairs per day. With such numbers, there is no need to worry.

However, if hair loss becomes noticeable, you should contact a trichologist.
