By adding this popular drink to your daily diet, the body not only reduces blood pressure and Visceral Fat, but also manages to achieve an almost perfect balance both inside and out.

Aside from weight loss, caffeinated tea provides a number of health benefits, including lowering blood pressure, assisting in the repair of damaged cells, and lowering the risk of heart disease.

Many types of caffeinated tea exist, including green, black, white, etc. In terms of fat reduction and blood pressure management, black tea and green tea are the most widely studied.

According to new research, published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition from the University of Western Australia, one of the most beneficial items for lowering high blood pressure is black tea.

“The regular consumption of black tea can lower blood pressure, but its effects on blood pressure variation have yet to be investigated,” said the study authors.

Researchers have long considered ambulatory blood pressure (ABP) to be the gold standard for measuring blood pressure since it captures the mean value of blood pressure.

People with high blood pressure were recruited to participate in the study, which was aimed solely to investigate the effects of the treatment on blood pressure.

Each time your heart pumps, the systolic blood pressure (the top number) shows how much power it produces on the walls of your arteries.

Those taking part in the study drank three cups of powdered black tea solids (tea) or a caffeine-free beverage that included no flavonoids (control).

It was determined how much blood pressure varied over the first day, three days, and six months after baseline.

During the night, systolic and diastolic blood pressure (the lower number used to record blood pressure) fluctuated 10% less often in the tea group than in the control group over the course of the study.

The researchers discovered that these effects were “immediate” on day one and lasted for six months, regardless of blood pressure or heart rate.

“The rate of blood pressure variation was not significantly altered during daytime,” they said.

“These findings indicate that a component of black tea solids, other than caffeine, can influence the rate of blood pressure variation during nighttime.”

Green tea, in particular, is high in EGCG, an antioxidant that has been investigated extensively for its involvement in metabolic enhancement.

In one study, people with diabetes who drank four cups of green tea lost weight and had lower blood pressure. It’s a double win!
