The benefits of watermelon can hardly be overestimated. It contains a lot of vitamins A, B6 and C, as well as phytonutrients that will only add to your health. 

In addition, watermelon effectively replenishes body fluids in hot weather and provides proper hydration, which helps regulate body temperature.

Also, it favors the cardiovascular system and blood pressure. But some people should be careful when eating this summer fruit.

Despite having so many useful properties, but in some cases, it is only allowed to eat watermelon in small quantities.

According to health experts consulted by the Revyuh team, people who suffer from diarrhea, urolithiasis, atherosclerosis, benign prostate hyperplasia should consume watermelon in small quantities.

Watermelon is a source of the antioxidant lycopene and a compound called L-citrulline. This is an amino acid that produces nitric oxide in the body, which, in turn, contributes to the expansion of blood vessels and maintains their tone.

It is also not recommended to eat watermelon if you have a pathology of the cardiovascular system.

It is better to eat watermelon before lunch, about 200 or 300 grams a day

At the same time, it is not recommended to eat this summer fruit together with other foods.
