The use of honey and black cumin relieve the symptoms of the coronavirus and promote its elimination from the body.

A team of experts have found that the consumption of honey and black cumin is also known as the black seed can help the patient cope with the coronavirus. This was reported by the medRxiv portal.

Scientists conducted a study involving patients with moderate to severe COVID-19. Some of the patients received one gram of honey and 80 milligrams of black cumin per kilogram of body weight daily, and the rest received a placebo. 

The results showed that taking these products led to the relief of symptoms for three and seven days in moderate to severe form, respectively. The virus was also excreted from the body on average four days earlier than in the control group.

Experts stressed that the use of honey and black cumin has no side effects and can be used separately or in combination with other treatments COVID-19.
