There is one more drink that reduces visceral fat naturally

Besides green tea, apple cider vinegar, black coffee, and water, there is another beverage that helps reduce visceral fat.

Visceral fat is a type of abdominal fat. It’s bad because it can clog our arteries, elevating our risk of diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and some malignancies.

However, since it is theoretically impossible to target belly fat directly, working on total weight loss will shrink visceral fat deposits.

And nutrition is one of the most important aspects of weight loss success. And focusing on what you are (and aren’t) drinking is a crucial aspect of nutrition for visceral fat loss. Certain beverages have been shown to help in the reduction of visceral fat loss.

While including these beverages in your diet isn’t a miracle pill for weight loss, they can help you achieve your visceral fat loss goals.

Dihydrogen Monoxide or H₂O or Water

Water plays an important part in the body’s fat-burning process (known as lipolysis), thus increasing your water consumption could help you lose visceral fat, according to a 2016 study published in Frontiers in Nutrition, which indicated that higher hydration was linked to weight loss.

Black Coffee

If you stick to black coffee, you might be able to lose some visceral fat as coffee contains theobromine, theophylline, and chlorogenic acid, which positively affects metabolism.

In fact, according to a Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health study, drinking four cups of coffee each day can help you lose about 4% of your body fat.

Green Tea

Making a cup of green tea during the day is an excellent approach to kick-start your visceral fat attack.

“It helps boost our metabolism and is full of EGCG, an antioxidant that studies have shown specifically targets fat cells,” according to Cory Ruth, a registered dietitian nutritionist.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Adding apple cider vinegar to your diet could help you lose some visceral fat.

According to studies, apple cider vinegar boosts metabolism and lowers insulin levels, leading to weight loss.

A study published in Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry, found that participants who took 1 tablespoon of ACV over a 3-month period lost 2.6 pounds, while those who used 2 teaspoons shed 3.7 pounds in the same time frame.

White Tea

White tea is high in antioxidants, which may reduce the production of visceral fat.

White tea’s antioxidants have been shown in studies to help prevent the formation of new fat cells.
