FBI officers arrived at the home of the popular American blogger Jake Paul with a search warrant, who are conducting a criminal investigation, found various weapons

The controversies are not something alien to YouTuber Jake Paul although this time he has gone a step further since his problems do not come from the hand of the comments on social networks but from the FBI itself. The investigation squad organized a raid last Wednesday on the internet star’s home as part of an ongoing criminal investigation. The photos of the agents taking various large weapons out of the house give an idea of the seriousness of the matter.

As E! News, about a score of police cars showed up at Jake Paul’s house in Calabasas, Los Angeles, last Wednesday at 6:45 in the morning and spent about two hours in and out of the house.

Images captured by the press show police officers pulling numerous large weapons from inside the building. The raid, which also left five roadside police units as surveillance, is reportedly being carried out as part of an investigation related to “criminal allegations surrounding the incident at Scottsdale Fashion Square in May 2020”.

Jake Paul, 23, has not made a statement on his social media. In fact, he has been inactive on Twitter since July 31 and on his YouTube channel, with close to 20 million followers, there is no reference to what happened either.

“We understand that a search warrant was executed this morning at Jake’s home in Calabasas while he was out of state. We are still collecting information and we will cooperate with the investigation”, assured one of the influencer’s lawyers.

Recall that last May Jake Paul was the protagonist of the media for appearing as an infiltrator in the looting and riots at the Scottsdale Fashion Square shopping center in Arizona, in the framework of the protests organized by the death of George Floyd.

The images taken by various fans who met him on the street showed him with objects in his hand and with an attitude that incited hatred. Since then, the YouTuber has kept a low profile on the networks although it has not stopped being the protagonist of other scandals.

On July 11, Jake Paul hosted a party at his mansion where safety measures such as social distance or masking were evidently not respected. Photos and videos from the neighbours came into the hands of the mayor of Calabasas, Alicia Weintraub who condemned this behaviour.

However, The Sun newspaper publishes that beyond the facts related to the incident in the Arizona shopping center, Jake Paul owes the state more than two million euros in taxes, a reason that could also have to do with the investigation that is ongoing.
