Justin Bieber responds to allegations of sexual abuse: “It’s something I don’t take lightly”

The famous Canadian singer Justin Bieber spoke in his defense after two fans accused him of sexually abusing them in 2014 and 2015.

“If [Bieber] sees it, you know who I am. I know you remember me. I hope your life becomes hell after this and you’ll drown in guilt,” said one of the young women, identified as Danielle, on her Twitter account.

In a disturbing post, the girl described in detail how Baby’s performer – who was then in a relationship with singer Selena Gomez – raped her in a room at the Four Seasons hotel after a concert in Austin she attended on March 9, 2014, with some friends.

“He unbuttoned my jeans, took them off, and started to touch my underwear with his fingers,” the young woman confessed.

“I was very uncomfortable, and I started hyperventilating. I asked him to let me go because I was starting to worry about my friends, but it was too late,” she added.

Later, the influencer Kadi claimed that in May 2015, Bieber had given her his phone number through a bodyguard and later invited her to his hotel room, where he kissed and groped her.

Later, he tried to rape the young woman, although she warned him that “he could not have sex with anyone before marriage for cultural and traditional reasons.”

“He immobilized me, he lowered my ‘leggings’ and his pants and penetrated me (something that is considered a very bad thing unless he is your husband), that bothered me and I pushed him, I kicked him between the legs and ran away”, the girl confessed.

Bieber himself was not silent and rushed to respond to the accusations.

“Rumors are rumours, but sexual abuse is something I don’t take lightly. I wanted to speak up right away, but out of respect for so many victims who face these issues on a daily basis, I wanted to gather the facts before making any statements.” he said.

The singer assured that he has an alibi: on the day of the alleged rape, he was in a reserved accommodation on AirBNB with his then-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, and attended the concert in Austin – which took place on the 10th, and not on the 9th of March— with his ex-partner. In addition, he shared on his account the invoice of the stay and several photos taken on that day to demonstrate that it has nothing to do with the horrifying incident.

The singer stressed that “every complaint of sexual abuse must be taken very seriously and this is why my response was needed.”

“However, this story is indeed impossible and that is why I will work with Twitter and the authorities to take legal action,” he concluded.
