Taliban ride swan boats with grenade launchers

Images published online, in which the militants are fully armed, ride pleasure boats in the shape of swans, amused users.

Images of Taliban representatives on the Band-e Amir Lake in Bamyan Province of Afghanistan, who ride with grenade launchers on boats in the form of swans, have appeared on social networks. 

Photos were shared by British military journalist Jake Hanrahan. 

According to the journalist, the photos were taken in the Bandi Amir National Park, which is one of the main attractions in the country.

“Taliban in Bamiyan province. These photos are real,” the journalist signed the post.

Similar photos were posted on Instagram by photojournalist Afshin Ismaeli.

Netizens were laughing at the pictures:

“I can’t believe we left our boats for them”;

“This can make a good cover for a music album”;

“Now they have a fleet”;

“Urgent: The Taliban say they now have a regular fleet, ready to defend themselves against any further aggression,” they joke online.
