In Chongzuo, China, dozens of ostriches escaped from a farm and staged a “race” through the streets and squares of the city. 

The birds were from a local ostrich farm. More than 80 birds escaped when the corral gate was unlocked.

With the help of the police, most of the ostriches were safely returned to the farm. Nobody was hurt during the incident.

Ostriches mainly feed on vegetables and weigh over 100 kilograms. The local farm has over 300 ostriches.
