Canadian singer Justin Bieber released the music video for ‘Lonely’, his new single in collaboration with producer Benny Blanco.

In this new song, JB talks about the reviews he needed to face and about the feelings of isolation experienced when he became a star while still very young. The Canadian singer became famous when he was 13.

“Being someone in my position I believe it is powerful to express vulnerability and that’s why I believe this song is so powerful!,” Bieber wrote on his Instagram account.

In the video, Bieber is played by actor Jacob Tremblay. The video clip shows the lonely young singer in the backstage of a concert. The child is then called to the stage, but the place appears to be empty. The only person in the audience is Bieber himself.

“Jacob Tremblay is very talented. It was exciting to see him play me from the outside looking in,” JB added.
