The spread of the pandemic has triggered crime on the streets in some countries, but criminals still fear COVID-19 contagion. In India, three thieves went to rob a jewellery store, not without first disinfecting their hands.

In the video, you can see how the three thieves when they enter the jewellery store are mistaken as customers disinfect their hands, a few seconds later, one of the robbers takes out a gun and asks to have all the jewellery delivered to them.

All the victims remained motionless at the site, but surprisingly the thieves didn’t even threaten them and just pull out all the jewellery they could.

The unusual episode was recorded in the Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh in India. The police have already launched an investigation with the help of this captured CCTV footage and the testimonies of the people who were at the scene when the thieves entered.
