After four days of suspense, Democratic candidate and former Vice President Barack Obama emerged victorious with at least 273 major voters, thanks to the success in the key state of Pennsylvania. He will become the 46th President of the United States of America.
Kamala Harris first female vice president
For the first time in its history, the country will have a female vice president, 56-year-old Kamala Harris, who will also be the first black woman to take the throne.
