These cities have the dirtiest air

The concentration of fine particles PM2.5 in these cities exceeded the norm by ten times.

The capital of India, Delhi, has become the worst city in terms of air pollution. 

This is stated on the website of the World Air Quality project.

It is noted that the concentration of fine particles PM2.5 in the air of the city as of November 9 was 276 micrograms per cubic meter. And this is 10 times higher than the world norm.

Lahore, Pakistan, came second in the anti-rating. The air in Lahore had 272 micrograms of fine particles per cubic metre. Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, is the third.

India’s Kolkata and Mumbai were also in the top five.

As of November 9

New York was ranked 25th – the concentration of fine particles in the air was 82 micrograms per cubic meter, Los Angeles ranked at 27th with 77, Detroit with 74 was ranked at 28th and Denver at 30th position.
