Project xCloud warms up engines: 50 games for xCloud Preview, launch in 2020

Just one month after the launch of the Public Preview (and just a few days after the launch of competitor Google Stadia) here comes news about xCloud, Microsoft’s streaming platform.

A few hours ago, Microsoft held its X019 London Event. A moment of stardom in which the company based in Redmond took the opportunity to talk about what will come with Project xCloud, its proposal to fight for the game in streaming and compete with Google Stadia.

xCloud: 50 games now and launch in 2020

It is best to detail the 50 new titles that will reach the platform. A list that includes titles for all tastes and signed by both Microsoft and other studios and third-party developers. Sports, driving, fighting and everything has a place. Also, remember that Stadia will only have 12 titles at the time of launch.

Microsoft has announced that access to these games will remain free and limited to only users who have been invited to try the service can use them.

In addition, it was announced that throughout the year 2020, Project xCloud will be integrated with Xbox Game Pass. In this way, subscribers of this service will be able to play the games of the platform via streaming on compatible devices.

The preview phase that has so far involved the United States, the United Kingdom and South Korea will be extended in early 2020 to the territories of Canada, India, Japan and some Western European countries (at the moment it is not known which ones). The official launch is planned for an unspecified period next year.
