Apple’s operating system division is currently pushing overtime. After iOS 13iOS 13.1 and iOS 13.1.1 – the latter came only last Friday – on Monday evening surprisingly iOS 13.1.2 appeared. The update is also available in an iPadOS version. In addition, watchOS 6.0.1 was released, the first update for the new operating system of the computer clock Apple Watch. iOS 13 first appeared on 19 September.

iOS 13.1.2 and iPadOS 13.1.2 are again bringing a number of fixes. In particular, iOS 13 is considered to be tolerably unstable for Apple conditions – the manufacturer had to improve in all sorts of places. Fixed an iCloud backup error on the iPhone, where a progress bar was still displayed despite a successful backup. Sometimes even the camera or the flashlight function failed. It was also possible that screen calibration data was lost, HomePod shortcuts did not run as desired, and the car’s Bluetooth connection ended undesirably.

iPadOS 13.1.2 also fixes the iCloud Backup and HomePod shortcut errors. WatchOS 6.0.1 includes a fix for the Disney dial (Mickey Mouse / Minnie Mouse) – it sometimes denied the time announcement. Also, the calendar complication could sometimes hide events. Even with the Apple Watch screen calibration data may be flute.

The three updates are available for download via the update function of the respective operating system or the Apple Watch application. Whether safety-related fixes are included, Apple has not yet revealed. It is also possible that even more, not communicated by the manufacturer fixes stuck in the updates.
