Sweden: Man dies after falling from 7th floor, killing another person and injuring one woman

Eyewitnesses reported that the man fell on two people (one killed and another injured) who were in the lobby.

A senior citizen in his 80s was killed when he fell from the Uppsala Concert hall’s main entrance in Sweden. Other people in the case included a 60-year-old male who died later in the hospital and a 60-year-old lady who was injured. Fortunately, her injuries aren’t life-threatening.

The victim is suspected to have fallen from the seventh floor, according to Magnus Jansson Klarin, a police spokesman.

A witness told UNT that they heard screams when they were eating and drinking while waiting for the show.

“Then we heard something that just screamed. Thought someone was stuck in an elevator.”

“Then we heard screams again. And the staff set up screens. We evacuated in peace and quiet, nothing nasty or hysterical. Everyone found themselves being evacuated and did so calmly,” says Agneta Eriksson – the eye witness.
