Vladimir Putin’s popularity drops in Russia – new poll shows

54.2 percent of respondents expressed support for the Russian Prime Minister’s activities.

In a poll done by the All-Russia Public Opinion Research Center on April 11-17, more than 80% of Russians said they trust President Putin.

“When asked if they trusted Vladimir Putin, 80.7% of respondents answered in the affirmative (a 0.9 percentage point drop from the week before). The president’s approval rating stands at 78.4% (a 1.2 percentage point decline),” according to a statement from the pollster.

54.2 percent of those polled were pleased with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s actions (down 0.8 percentage points from the previous week), while 53.4 percent approved of the government’s work (a 1.7 percentage point decline).

64.4 percent of people polled stated they have confidence in Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin (a 0.3 percentage point decline).
