Zombies do not exist but how they could just like Covid 19 – Experts

Published on

Neuroscientists and zombie experts are attempting to figure out the true neurobiology of zombies.

On Oct 31, 2012, Johns Hopkins University published an article titled “One doctor’s nearly real, totally believable zombie apocalypse scenario” citing the sources from Steven Schlozman’s Shriver Hall lecture, author of The Zombie Autopsies, a strikingly realistic work of fiction that makes you wonder if a zombie apocalypse is more than mere horror genre fantasy, describing the true neurobiology of zombies and how ‘Ataxic neurodegenerative satiety deficiency syndrome‘, or ANSD, an airborne virus that slowly decomposes the body, causes the brain to swell, and instills that telltale taste for human flesh.

The CDC, based in the Atlanta area, had previously issued promotional materials on how to survive a zombie attack, but these were all “a tongue in cheek campaign to engage new audiences with preparedness messages,” according to the agency’s website.

It was almost a 9-10 years old story. We really enjoyed those articles and their common sense.

But now, time and situation both are different. Since the first case of COVID-19, an infectious disease that has already infected 13.7 million people that has taken the lives of 171K people on Earth, was identified in December 2019, the illness has become a pandemic, touching every corner of the planet.

The US being on the top, India second and Brazil on third.

Seeing this situation, scientists do believe that a Zombie apocalypse could happen. It is no ANSD but a parasite known as toxoplasma gondii can infect the brains of rodents and easily can manipulate the behavior of a rodent, making it fearless.

According to a study, humans are already having a dormant version of the parasite on their brains in the form of harmless cysts.

However, for some people having immune deficiencies, the parasite has taken over which has been linked to schizophrenia and suicidal tendencies.

A study from the University of California revealed that the parasite is more powerful than previously thought.

Wendy Ingham, who was involved in the study, says that the team tested the parasite on mice that were ultimately unfazed by the presence of a predator once infected.

She warned that: “The idea that this parasite knows more about our brains than we do, and has the ability to exert desired change in complicated rodent behaviour, is absolutely fascinating.

“Toxoplasma has done a phenomenal job of figuring out mammalian brains in order to enhance its transmission through a complicated life cycle.”

Dr. Ben Neuman, a professor of virology at the University of Reading, also believes that a virus such as rabies could evolve and conquer humanity.

Dr. Neuman told Yahoo: “There are parasites out there that get close to making actual walking around zombies.

“But the real weirdoes locked up in Mother Nature’s basement are the viruses. There are more viruses out there than we will probably ever discover and I bet that somewhere out there in nature something like this is happening.

“If you look at rabies, it completely changes the way a dog behaves.

“It’s transmitted by bites, it leads to madness, convulsions, and so it’s not really that far-fetched.”

But don’t worry.

A guide available on the CDC’s website explains everything you will need to do to protect yourself and your closest loved ones.

The Preparedness 101: Zombie Apocalypse guide reads: “You may laugh now, but when it happens you’ll be happy you read this, and hey, maybe you’ll even learn a thing or two about how to prepare for a real emergency.”

And just remember, zombies still do not exist. Yet.
