A new wave of protests in US: “I can’t breathe” movement reaches to the streets of London and Berlin (video)

Hundreds of people took to the streets of London and Berlin today to protest the murder of George Floyd by a white police officer in Minneapolis, in a sign of sympathy in the USA who have been demonstrating for days with the main slogan “I can’t breathe” – Floyd’s last words when standing motionless on the ground with a policeman’s knee around his neck.

The protesters knelt in London’s Trafalgar Square shouting “No justice, no peace” and then marched to parliament and ended up outside the U.S. Embassy.

Several hundred demonstrators staged a protest outside the US embassy in Berlin holding posters that read “Justice for George Floyd,” “Stop killing us” and “Who will be next?”

George Floyd’s death after his arrest on Monday sparked a wave of protest in the US and unleashed the accumulated outrage over racism in the American justice system.
