Apple provides redeemable Apple TV + codes to users with activation problems

Apple TV+ was officially released on November 1 in more than 100 countries. After months of teasers and trailers, it is now possible to watch on the new video streaming service your favourite programs such as ‘The Morning Show’, ‘See’, ‘For All Mankind’ and ‘Dickinson’ on company products and third-party devices such as Amazon’s Fire TV Stick or Samsung TVs.

It has a monthly price of $ 5 (Euro 4.99), and a free 7-day trial is available to test the platform. However, users who purchased an iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, or Mac recently can enjoy a whole year at no cost. But some people have had trouble activating the offer, so Apple is providing codes to those affected.

Apple’s official solution

Before the complaints and problems of the users for the impossibility of activating the offer, we had found out a method that had worked for some, but that was not a universal solution. Now, Apple has taken action on the matter and is providing redeemable Apple TV + codes.

This is what they tell in the Reddit threads, as MacRumors comments. Those who have spoken with Apple technical support have obtained an Apple TV + redemption code to redeem it on iTunes or App Store.

As a curiosity, a person who has already been able to prove explains that, at the time of redeeming it, it will appear that it is only for a week, but when you access the details it says that the subscription payment will start in November 2020.
