11-year-old breaks the record of the legendary Tony Hawk, turning 1080 degrees with skateboards (video)

Legendary American skateboarder, Tony Hawk’s record was broken by an 11-year-old child prodigy from Brazil, making a 1,080-degree turn in the air and successfully landing his skateboard on the ramp that he practices for hours during the quarantine.

Tony Hawk, perhaps the world’s most popular four-wheeler skateboarder at the age of 31, had successfully completed a 900-degree turn in 1999, a world record to date.

The closure of the schools gave 11-year-old Gui Khury plenty of time to practice his passion for skateboarding and take an almost legendary position in extreme sports from one moment to the next.

The skateboard is expected to make its debut as an Olympic sport at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, which is expected to take place during July 23 – 8 August 2021, deferring a year due to the global pandemic of the new coronavirus.
