After that, the pyrotechnics arrived at the scene and began to inspect the territory.
“Now the pyrotechnic of the State Emergency Service has identified 375 units of obsolete TMI-42 anti-tank mines,” the ministry said.
All discovered ammunition is in the same place where it was found. They are guarded round the clock. After the final exploration of the entire territory, they will be destroyed by detonation.
Large quantities of World War II-era ammunition have been found in Ukraine before. Thus, 273 German shells were found in Kharkiv.
The survey of the territory lasts for two days.
