The deadly find was discovered by a resident of the village of Devladovo in the Sofievsky district. The man accidentally found three pieces of ammunition while searching for scrap metal in the field behind the village, the press service of the regional state emergency service reports.

After that, the pyrotechnics arrived at the scene and began to inspect the territory.

All discovered ammunition is in the same place where it was found. They are guarded round the clock. After the final exploration of the entire territory, they will be destroyed by detonation.

Large quantities of World War II-era ammunition have been found in Ukraine before. Thus, 273 German shells were found in Kharkiv.
