As of the end of January, more than 84.9 million doses of coronavirus vaccine have been administered worldwide, which corresponds to 1.1 doses for every 100 people.
Israel remains in first place in terms of the rate of vaccination of the population: for every 100 people, 48.9 doses are administered there.

According to the sources, eight different vaccines are being administered worldwide. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, which is 95% effective, is currently used in 49 countries.
Several other countries have approved vaccines, but have not yet begun introducing them. All of these vaccines require two doses for complete protection.
