All photographs were captured at the researcher’s personal observatory, which is located in Oulu.

Finnish scientist Jukka-Pekka Metsävainio has created a unique image of the Milky Way galaxy.

Astronomical Nature photographer J-P Metsavainio from Finland has been working on the image for 12 years, starting in 2009. He spent 1250 hours filming.

As a result, Metsävainio combined 234 separate photos into one 100,000-pixel image.

This is demonstrated by more than 20 million stars located in 125 degrees of the starry sky from the constellations Taurus to Cygnus.

Note that J-P Metsävainio is a famous astrophotographer, whose works are popular all over the world.
