Former CDC virologist: Covid-19 was artificially created

The characteristics of the spread of the novel coronavirus indicate that it was probably created in laboratory conditions. This opinion was expressed on March 26 by the former head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Robert Redfield in an interview.

According to him, the most likely theory for this pathogen from Wuhan is that it got out of the laboratory.

“It’s my opinion, all right, but I am a virologist. I have spent my life in virology. I do not believe this somehow came from a bat to a human. And at that moment in time, the virus came to the human, became one of the most infectious viruses that we know in humanity for human-to-human transmission,” he said.

Redfield added that under normal circumstances, the virus “takes some time to figure out how to become more and more efficient in terms of transmission from person to person,” and concluded that for him all these details “do not make biological sense.” …

At the same time, the channel’s credits note that the former head of the CDC, who held this position under the 45th US President Donald Trump, did not provide any evidence to support his theory.

In addition, Redfield believes that the spread of a new type of coronavirus began in Wuhan closer to the beginning of autumn.

“I would assume that the transmission of the virus began sometime in September-October in Wuhan. These are my own feelings, and only an opinion,” he said.
