In Georgia, an armed man broke into a branch of the Bank of Georgia in Tbilisi and took hostages. This was reported by the Rustavi-2 TV channel on Friday, April 16.

Law enforcement officers are working on the site, people were evacuated from the perimeter of the building, the location was cordoned off. Also, law enforcement officers closed the Avlabari metro station, which is located nearby.
