San Jose firefighters are responding to a fire Saturday evening at a Home Depot in south San Jose.
The fire broke out at the store on 920 Blossom Hill Rd, between Santa Teresa and Winfield boulevards, at 5 p.m.
The neighborhood is evacuated and many ambulances are deployed.
During a media briefing at 8 p.m., fire officials stated that no one has been reported missing or injured, including staff and customers.

The dense smoke can be seen from miles away in Santa Clara County, according to ABC7 News reporter Dustin Dorsey. NWS Bay Area tweeted that it can even be seen from space.

A nearby pet hospital has been evacuated. According to SJFD, those looking to reunite with their dogs should go to Golfland on Winfield.

At this point, it is unknown when the big fire will be brought under control.
Officials with the fire department are urging the public to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
