Authorities say a shooting occurred on 9th Street.
A man was shot and killed in Southeast Washington on Tuesday night, according to D.C. police.
Officer Sean Hickman, a police spokesperson, said the incident happened around 8:35 p.m. in the 3800 block of Ninth Street. There was no instant information about a suspect or a motive.
The deceased man’s name and age were not revealed.
