At the same time, most of the rest of the world is still “locked in” and “fighting” hard to curb the coronavirus pandemic.

A year after a total lockdown due to the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic, young people in Wuhan are filling the city’s nightclubs, wet markets – considered the original outbreaks of the virus – after reopening and a video circulating on the social network showing the “response” of the city to the sufferings it has endured.

At the same time, much of the rest of the world is continuing its battle with the deadly disease that was first detected in the Chinese city, which has killed more than two million people worldwide.

The viral video from the big city of Hubei province, in central China, was taken on January 21 and 22.

In fact, at night, young people go out and fill bars and clubs, with very few of them wearing masks or keeping social distance, something that seems impossible to even imagine in many other countries.

China is even releasing a government-sponsored film praising Wuhan shortly before the one-year anniversary of the 76-day total lockdown, which was imposed on January 23, 2020, to curb the spread of the epidemic.

Outside the country, however, new evidence is mounting that China has masked the initial spread of the coronavirus – allowing the outbreak to turn into a pandemic, which has left no room for reaction in the rest of the world.
