AQ leader Ayman al-Zawahri appeared in a pre-recorded clip to mark the 11th anniversary of his successor Osama bin Laden’s death.

Al-Qaida commander Ayman al-Zawahri appeared in a prerecorded video to commemorate the eleventh anniversary of Osama bin Laden’s death.

The SITE Intelligence group, which monitors extremist activity, released the 27-minute address on Friday. The boss is shown sitting at a desk, surrounded by literature and a rifle.

“Here (the U.S.) is after its defeat in Iraq and Afghanistan, after the economic disasters caused by the 9/11 invasions, after the Corona pandemic, and after it left its ally Ukraine as prey for the Russians,” he said.

Bin Laden was killed by US forces in a raid on his compound refuge in Pakistan in 2011.

Al-Zawahri’s location remains unknown. The FBI is looking for him, and a $25 million reward is being offered for information leading to his apprehension.
