Scientists demonstrate how all four types of COVID vaccines protect us against the virus – Video

More than 170 coronavirus vaccines are currently being tested at a record speed. But how are they different from each other and how will they protect us against the disease?

A video has been published that shows the differences between different types of COVID-19 vaccines and their mechanism of action. 

The video was published by the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization GAVI.

“The fight against COVID-19 has seen vaccine development move at record speed, with more than 170 different vaccines in trials,” reads the caption to the video.

There are four types of coronavirus vaccines: inactivated coronavirus-based drugs, subunit vaccines, vector vaccines, mRNA and DNA vaccines.
