In the video, a goose can be seen racing next to a cyclist in Ohio. The cyclist who was encouraging the bird by flapping his arms is his adoptive parent.

The video captured by a police officer was released by Pepper Pike Police Department, Ohio on its official Facebook page.

In the video, the officer can be heard saying, “This is one of our Residents and his friend, Goostov. Don’t try this at home.”

The person in the video is Scott Klement, who responded to his friend’s fame by creating Goostov’s own Facebook page where he shared their journey together.

In a Facebook post on Goostov’s name, Mr Klement explained that he found the bird on May 15 when he was just a little gooseling after a bad storm. After that, he tried to reunite him with his parents but could not, as they were nowhere to be found. Not to leave the bird to fend for itself he adopted him and since then taking care of him.

After the video has gone viral, Goostov has become a local celebrity with people taking his pictures and trying to feed him.
