In a big city, going faster than 100 kilometers per hour is not a good idea. Less if you ride in a Tesla…
On the afternoon of May 4, security cameras at the Columbus Convention Center showed the moment a Tesla brand car smashed into a building.
The events occurred in Columbus, Ohio, in the northern US.
According to local press sources, the Tesla Model 3’s brakes failed, leaving the driver with little room to move, and a collision occurred. No injuries were reported, except for the driver, who was taken to the hospital.
The car was moving at a speed of 113 km/h. In reality, due to the tremendous pace at which the car was driving, the photographs show how the car tears down the building’s front doors and creeps inside.
The authorities did not impose any fines on the driver because it was a mechanical breakdown, but the Columbus Convention Center decided to punish him, demanding compensation of more than 300,000 dollars to pay for the building’s damage.
The market value of a Tesla Model 3 is almost $64,000.
