The former US first lady made a shocking gesture on her last public appearance.
If it was alleged at the start of his presidency that Donald Trump embarrassed his wife with his actions (such as on the day of his inauguration or during his meeting with the Obamas), Melania Trump made a few gestures that did not go ignored.
The former first lady appeared to deny her husband’s hand as soon as he stepped off the plane during her tour to Israel. Just a day later, just after landing in Rome, she appeared to make the same gesture, and social media was flooded with support and criticism for Melania under the hashtag #FreeMelania.

Since her arrival at the White House, their relationship has dominated the news, particularly in light of the Stormy Daniels case. She said at the time that she was highly focused on her role and that she had more essential things to complete.
“It is not a concern and focus of mine,” she said. “I’m a mother and a first lady, and I have much more important things to think about and to do.”
“I know people like to speculate and media like to speculate about our marriage,” she added.
Despite everything, and despite the forcefulness of their words, both have been exposed on multiple occasions by their gestures and behaviours.
The last one occurred last week during a baseball World Series game between the Houston Astros and the Atlanta Braves. At one point, Trump greets fans while his wife turns her head and makes a disgusted gesture with her mouth, and even rolls her eyes.

Many critics of the marriage assured that the couple stayed together for the good of Donald Trump in the eyes of the public during his term as president of the United States, but they believed that as soon as they left the White House, the divorce proceedings would begin, rumors that have not yet become effective.
