What does Novak Djokovic think of vaccines?

Novak Djokovic, a two-time Grand Slam tennis champion, has been detained in Australia until the outcome of a court hearing to determine whether the unvaccinated tennis player can remain in the country. Over the years, he has stated some unusual opinions on health.

Tennis player Novak Djokovic has been detained in Australia while he awaits a court hearing to see if he can remain in the country without vaccination.

His lawyers have scheduled a hearing next Sunday to challenge what they describe a “irrational” decision.

Djokovic is still set to compete in the Australian Open in Melbourne on Monday.

If he wins the tournament, he will become the sport’s all-time leading men’s tennis player with 21 major titles.

So, what are the health views of the controversial athlete?

What is Djokovic’s opinion on the vaccine?

Djokovic, 34, was first denied entry to Melbourne because he had not been vaccinated against Covid-19 and did not meet the government’s medical exemption requirements.

It was later found that he might face more harsher penalty, including a possible jail sentence, for lying on his visa application and attending public relations events in December after testing positive for the virus.

In April 2020, Djokovic stated that he is against “vaccination,” but added that he is “no expert.”

Clarifying, Novak said: “My issue here with vaccines is if someone is forcing me to put something in my body that I don’t want.”

Numerous peer-reviewed scientific studies have demonstrated the vaccine’s efficacy in preventing severe disease and death caused by the virus.

But what are Djokovic’s views on health

The 34-year-old is known in the sport for his dedication and fitness, and he attributes some of his success to eliminating gluten from his diet.

The diet change occurred in 2010 after nutritionist Dr. Igor Cetojevic placed a piece of white bread in his left palm and pressed it down with his right. Djokovic stated that he felt “noticeably weaker.”

Djokovic also claimed he could wash dirty water with his mind during an Instagram Live.

He said: “I know some people that through that energetical transformation, through the power of prayer, through the power of gratitude, they managed to turn the most toxic food or maybe most polluted water into the most healing water, because water reacts … molecules in the water react to our emotions, to what is being said.”

Meanwhile, Jelena, a business studies graduate and former model wife, has expressed some peculiar (and utterly baseless) views on 5G technology.

On Instagram, she posted a bogus video claiming that 5G caused coronavirus. She then clarified that she did not declare the illogical idea “to be true or not.”
