Tesla V10: something is wrong with Smart Summon feature

Last week Tesla started the rollout of the update that brings the software on board its vehicles to version 10. Among the innovations introduced also those concerning Smart Summon, the technology useful for calling the car to itself, just as Michael Knight did with KITT (but via app).

However, something seems to go wrong, as some of those who have had the opportunity to test the functionality as soon as they receive the update are complaining. There are those who, as can be read in the tweet below, have found themselves having to deal with a considerable dent in the bodywork.

The video below shows how the system, activated by the owner positioned on the other side of the roadway, does not respect precedence. The Tesla enters without paying attention to the vehicle that arrives and forcing the latter to a sudden stop.

Elon Musk and his will have to intervene to remedy, perhaps with the release of a patch just like with smartphones. In this case, however, the bug  is likely to have decidedly unpleasant consequences.
