Singapore-based cybersecurity company Group-IB reported the largest data leakage of 1.3 million bank cardholders, said in a statement. The database was posted on one of the underground sites on October 28.

The database called INDIA-MIX-NEW-01 contains mainly information about clients of Indian banks. The cost of the data for one card is $ 100. The cost of the entire base is about $ 130 million. This is not only one of the largest, but also one of the most expensive in the history of the black market, the company said.

The founder of Group IB, Ilya Sachkov, said that major database leaks appeared earlier, but for the first time, the information was collected in one file. In addition, usually the authors of such proposals “advertise” their product on specialized forums on the dark. Here, there was no mention of the laid out base.
