Bing is the default search engine of Microsoft Edge, the formula with which the company tried to compete with the search giant and be the true alternative to Google, but despite all the efforts of Microsoft, Bing is far from be a real option for many users.
We do not know if they really consider Bing a failure, but what is certain is that it has not worked for them as they would like. However, Microsoft do not give up easily and proof of this is the feature related to Bing that they discovered in the last Build within the Insider Program.
This is Build 18932, which has already been analyzed and apparently could hide a curious surprise. It has been the Twitter user albacore, which has come up with a new hidden feature.
I'm not sure why you'd want this but, with build 18932, you can now enable a persistent search box on the lock screen.

To prove it, he has uploaded to his Twitter account a screenshot showing a Bing search box on the Windows 10 start screen. A totally new functionality that nothing has been known so far.
Albacore affirms that it is not in any case a function that can be easily enabled and to achieve it, it is necessary to use a tool such as Mach2. In addition, we do not know if it is a bug or that really in Microsoft are thinking of adding this functionality to upcoming builds released at a general level.
The searches carried out in Windows 10 suppose more than 50% of the traffic in Bing, so it is not surprising that in Microsoft they had interest in facilitating its use, even without having to access the equipment completely.
