Fuel tanks arrived in Ukraine and provided logistics for the forces heading towards Chernihiv-Suma.

On the eve of the Russian invasion, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv detained 51 Belarusian tank cars that had crossed the border in the Chernihiv district. The State Bureau of Investigation’s press service revealed this on Saturday, April 30.

It is worth noting that following the Russian invasion, tank cars were used to transport troops heading into Chernihiv-Sumy. 3,000 tons of Belarusian and Russian diesel fuel were pumped into the tanks. The reported supplies were destined for energy businesses inside Medvedchuk’s sphere of influence.

After the Chernihiv region was liberated from the Russian invaders, the SBI investigators initiated a petition to the Pechersky District Court to seize the discovered property. Now the State Bureau of Investigation is taking measures to transfer the seized assets to the Agency for Tracing and Management of Assets, and later to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Some of the tanks after the successful military operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are somewhat “damaged”, but after the conclusions of the examination and repair, they will also go to the needs of the state.

On this fact, criminal proceedings have been opened under the article on planning, preparing or unleashing an aggressive war or military conflict, as well as participation in a conspiracy aimed at committing such actions (part 1 of article 437 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
