With an official blog post, Microsoft announces today the dates chosen for its upcoming events. The most important one of the year organized by the Redmond group, Build 2020, will be staged in the Seattle setting from 19 to 21 May next year. It will be as always focused on the activity of the developers, but as we now know, on the occasion details on the roadmap linked to the evolution of Windows are punctually revealed.
Ignite 2019 (4-8 / 11) and Build 2020 (19-21 / 05)
Orlando will host Ignite 2019 from November 4th to 8th this year, with a focus on the enterprise universe. Microsoft will then call on its partners and customers in a still unspecified California location between 20 and 21 April 2020 for the Business Applications Summit. The next edition of Inspire in Las Vegas from 20 to 24 July will be addressed to partners and businesses. Still, the Ignite and Envision tours will touch dozens of cities around the world.
But first it will be the turn of the event dedicated to the Surface line set for October 2, in just a couple of weeks. There are several expected innovations, not exclusively on the hardware front: a 15-inch Surface Laptop 3 with AMD processor, a dual screen indicated as the heir of the Courier project and the official announcement of the Windows Lite operating system.
