South African tycoon Elon Musk’s flagship company has shared the Tesla Model 3 manufacturing process with the world. In less than a minute you can see how the machine that Musk calls “alien battleship” assembles the cars from scratch.

As you can see, it takes several latest generation robots, many hands and even more dexterity to build the vehicles of the ambitious entrepreneur’s line. With this relatively new factory (it has been in operation since November 2019), Tesla intends to take it one step further towards automating its production and consolidating the brand internationally.

The Tesla Model 3 began exporting as early as December last year. However, 2020 has been a challenge to the brand after the Chinese government ordered Tesla’s Shanghai Gigafactory to be temporarily shut down. This was followed by a production stoppage in China in May due to a shortage of material, but luckily the factory reopened just days after its closure.
