Joan MacDonald is proof that age is just a number. At 74, she became an inspiration to thousands of people and is truly dedicated to exercising regularly.

Joan shared the news with her daughter, Michelle, who is a professional personal trainer. The daughter helped her develop a healthier lifestyle by focusing on different exercises such as yoga and weight lifting, as well as healthy eating and nutrition.

The woman became a fitness influencer with more than 900,000 followers on Instagram who follow her transformation process. Joan has lost about 30 kilos of weight and is fitter, healthier and stronger than ever.

“I want to encourage any of you who are going through your own turning point in life not to hesitate. It can seem overwhelming to make big changes as you get older. Don’t let fear stop you. It’s okay to be scared and do it for everyone. Get support, reward yourself for your little successes, and focus on your daily routines, not how far you have to go,” Joan writes on her account.
