Do you know the safest Android smartphone in the world?

Experts from analytics company Counterpoint Research published the ‘ranking’ of the safest Android smartphone. When drawing up the list, they have taken four criteria into account.

Smartphones were valued according to the following parameters: software, security system updates, assembly quality, and recommendations for corporate use.

The ranking leader for the second year in a row is Nokia. Counterpoint Research specialists stress that because of the pandemic, people have started using smartphones more often. Android security updates now play a key role, as manufacturers must take care of data protection.

The OnePlus phone, which is part of the Chinese holding company BBK, ranks second, followed by Samsung.

Huawei, which hasn’t been doing well lately, is not among the first. Due to the U.S. sanctions, the company decided to reject Google’s services and develop its own. That’s why new devices won’t find the Google Store.

Instead, the Chinese brand offers Huawei Mobile Services, including the App Gallery, its own app store. In addition, at the presentation Huawei announced the launch of its own map app, Petal Maps.
